  2. Wages are proportionate to those costs. We don’t have as much of the deep poverty that many countries have. Most working people can get by comfortably.

  3.  @AbblittAbroad  It’s actually quite difficult to lose your accent entirely, unless you’ve lived in your adopted country since you were a young child. He’s still young so perhaps he’s been here for ten years or more.
