American spelling is different because of one man who thought Americans were too dumb to learn English the way England speaks it, so he deleted thousands of words, including half of the homophones! Now English speakers know who that dumb American was, none other than Noah Webster! He also removed the u from the.suffix “our” because he deemed it unnecessary!   4. Ian, here’s one for you. Hollywood uses Roman Numerals to date all their movies, particularly the classics. Also many top makers of watches use Roman numerals as well. Only tablets and mobile phones seem not to use it, although I’m sure there’s a setting for it or a widget if you really wanted it. 😄 EDIT: I’m on an iPad so the Dutch clock is the size of a pea. I just enlarged it and realised it’s not in Roman numerals. Duh!

  5. Your Chrysler clock doesn’t have Roman numerals, just number indicators. But yes, no numbers would also be without American numbers.
