  3. Better options? That’s because they’re all franchises and so Aussies run them, Aussie managers listen to what Aussies want and they try to give it to us. The Company tested McCafe in Australia first, to see if it could work in our culture. It did and so it got rolled out in the US too, but I keep hearing that it’s separate from Maccas, as in a separate building, but that’s not true. McCafe is on the opposite side to the kitchen with the seating area more conducive to adults who want to relax, drink their coffee and read the paper or a magazine, or work on their tablet. The cafe section is separate from the main counter but under the same roof.

  11. A dim sim, honey chicken, beef and black bean sauce or Mongolian lamb - hard to tell- and some mediocre looking fried rice. Aussies often have fried rice as the meal accompaniment, when it should be steamed rice. Fried rice is a meal by itself.
