  1. There are lots of intersections with the sign, “Left turn on red permitted after stopping.” We buy the size drink we can finish. Why would you need free refills? I’ve never bought a second drink in my life, even when some places do have free refills.

  3. America has 360 million people so taxes can go a really long way towards all these freebies. Australia doesn’t have the population nor the hospital beds to cater for fools and drunks who smash their heads open. Also cigarettes are imported and have high duties and taxes on them, which is added to their cost. We’ve tried to lower the interest in smoking to the point where there are no cigarette commercials allowed in Australia. Sand flies sting you. Just remember the Aerogard, mate!

  4. Speeding is the cause of many accidents in Australia. Our speed limits are reasonable. It has to be 4km per hour over the limit for a kilometre as far as I can remember.
