Ian is right, it’s pronounced kinder and is the same as kindergarten, which means children’s garden. German origin. Be careful that Emma doesn’t accidentally swallow any of the small plastic pieces, nor Anthony!

If they’re labeled cookies, then they’re probably the soft style cookies. Sultanas are dried seedless green grapes, usually Thompson’s seedless grapes. We do have raisins but they’re much less common and are much bigger and darker than sultanas. Raisins taste very different too.

Here’s an Aussie tour taken by UK host, Michael Portillo: https://youtu.be/Y2BsrMiHKO0. You won’t be able to react to it but you’ll enjoy the journey anyway.

Oh! I disagree with his method of eating Weet-Bix! I love them whole, put some sugar on them first then pour a little cold milk around the sides of the bowl, not too much. Then break into a Weet-Bix with your spoon and eat! They absorb milk very quickly, so if you want them to stay mostly crunchy, don’t drown them, you can add a bit more milk as you need it. Now you have two methods to try, let me know which way you prefer! You can also eat them with butter and Vegemite or peanut butter, as a savoury snack with a favourite drink or cuppa - you need something to drink because they’re dry to bite, but really yummy!
