  1. Aussie TV has no pharmaceutical adverts, other than paracetamol and similar painkillers. Some people buy drugs online without a doctor’s prescription, so they can overdose or take the wrong meds for their condition so it’s illegal.

  3. In the rest of the world, a tip is also known as a gratis which means freely given. No one would ever insist on receiving a tip, it’s a kindness from the customer as a sign to them that they gave great service. Some restaurants don’t allow tipping because it can create problems amongst the staff who can become jealous or argue about who did the most work for a table. In Australia, hospitality staff receive a basic wage so tipping isn’t necessary. If you receive a tip, you know it was freely given because you did your job above and beyond.

  4. One other problem with ice is the hygiene level. If you see the drinks server sticking his hand into the ice cubes and pop them into your drink, do NOT drink it! They must always use clean ice tongs. You wouldn’t let someone handle your food with bare hands so don’t let them handle your ice either.
