Tanner is the most SoCal guy of all time. It’s like they grew him in a weed smoke filled laboratory. 🤣

Homeboy just tricked his roommates into cleaning 2/3rds of his mess and made money off of filming it 🤣

James has lost so much weight that he looks like he’s been cropped incorrectly from green screen.

Why do none of these guys know the steering wheel removal trick? 1. Remove the center nut only most of the way off. 2. Bang around the old wheel with the bottom of your fist to loosen the grip. 3. Rock the steering wheel back and forth until it pops loose. 4. THEN remove the center nut the rest of the way. I’ve seen so many guys bash their face with their steering wheel because they removed the nut entirely.

That’s exactly why the Toyota D4S system has both. Toyota does not place their reliability reputation at risk.

Yeah, I don’t know why my friends and family bother to ask me how long a job is going to take anymore. My estimate is always wrong. Every time.
119
You should be happy Toyota lets you buy their vehicles with that Monopoly money y’all use.

Aaron Eaton I think it should be perfectly stock cars with no pushrod requirements or turbo prohibitions but instead a homologation requirement like WRC. That would be awesome to see Corvettes, GT40’s and Hellcats duking it out with LFA’s, GTR’s and NSX’s!!!

The Mitsubishi Zero was, in many fundamental ways, the EVO of the sky in the first half of WWII. It was eventually severely outclassed by the American muscle cars of the sky in the second half.

The garage is clean. I’m sure Zach would prefer the inside of his engine to remain clean, as well.
49
Fucking hate that guy
39
It’s also why you have money for parts.
34
Dude, please take everything you learn here with a grain of salt. These guys are on the back nine of “Fake it until you make it”. Nice guys, probably, but definitely not experts.
32
Building cars for drag racing is like building cars for the Special Olympics. They might be fast but they’re still retarded. Real races have left AND right turns.
29
Brimstone the Toyota 2000GT James Bond drove has a shared heritage with the 240z. Look it up - Yamaha, Nissan and finally Toyota (Then Nissan again LOL)
29
@reillymcculloch6 Damn, dude, did they let you graduate?
27
Adam Papp Worse than Stalin, Pol Pot, or even Ghengis Khan apparently
22
Is Big Mike the real life Hector? Is he too slow to get away?
20
Get a job? You can earn that in a month at McDs
19
Captain FALKEN Toyota Tundras are American made, as are Nissan Titans and Honda Ridgelines. Dodge, Ford and GM trucks are all made in Canada and Mexico. If you want an American made pickup, you have to go Japanese 😝
18
Magucci13 Keep waiting - they’ve been scraping the bottom of the barrel for a while now.
17
They’re consistently cringey and hard to watch
17
I’ve got a 27yo Celica GT-FOUR Turbo with over 175k miles, a 22yo Lexus LS with 250k and a 30yo MR2 Turbo with Lord only knows how many miles. Not one issue between them (Except for that damn speedo cable on the MR2 which is why I don’t know how many miles it has but it’s a fucking LOT)
17
The Prius is a truly great and revolutionary car - just not for those of us who love the great sports cars. But, then again, it kind of is - it has led the technology to some kickass performance hybrids and torque vectoring. I see much more coming too.
15
I’m good with a “bumpy” ride provided she stays flat in the corners.
15
Kenny K HIGHLY underrated joke, my friend!
14
Bill Woo Yeah sure. Kia engines have been failing left and right. No thanks
14
Carl Johannesburg Might save you some teeth 😉
13
Leave that hell hole. I did four years ago, moved to Texas and got a rust free 30yo MR2 Turbo and a girl who doesn’t weigh 250lbs like they all do in Ohio. Now I couldn’t be happier.
13
My go to swap engines are 3S-GTE for 4cyl applications and 1UZ-FE for V8 applications and everything in between. Great motors, light and tons of tuning potential yet reliable as fuck. I still love LS engines but since everything I drive is a Toyota/Lexus, I prefer to keep it brand loyal.
12
Jeff IDK. Even Marvel wouldn’t use the Hulk’s real name, Bruce, on their Hulk TV show because “Bruce is a gay man’s name”. Their words, not mine.
12
@YoungDaggerDick69 Does this affect the 2.4L engines? My brother got sick of high maintenance European cars and finally took my advice and bought a brand new Toyota. Unfortunately, that 2022 “Toyota” he bought is really a Subaru and if his head gaskets let go he’s totally going to blame me.
12
I’m an American (US Citizen to specify which American country) Engineer - my team and I use the metric system every day. Most cars manufactured in the US use metric hardware (Toyota, Honda, Nissan etc) and most US owned car companies (GM, Ford, Dodge etc) while typically manufactured in Canada and Mexico are bi-curiously using hardware from both systems for some insane reason.
11
You priced a 6 speed transmission for a MKIV recently? I have and you might be surprised. Guess I’m staying auto, after all.
10
The pops and bangs are so non-threatening
10
Drive this car for two weeks and then sell it and use the cash to make your Miata fucking unreal!
10
This is the only Donut show I still watch. Keep doing what you do, Zach.
10
Anonimo Most 2JZ’s have variable valve timing tho
10
Nice. I have a ‘91 MR2 Turbo making 300WHP. I’d love to roll with you
9
I missed it. What was the drama?
9
THE BRAIN SPECIALIST I don’t think you understand the point of this show. You DO know Up To Speed has an episode on the RX7, right?
9
Julian Bello What happened then?
9
ka mar Because that shot was hideous. It’s 2002 anymore.
8
What’s with Jay And Silent Bob? Love those guys.
8
@pnwnative918 So, you’re the one who flies past my house with the loud exhaust at 2:00am?
8
@daddiestlonglegs3599 S2000 in decent shape, 60k-ish miles is roughly $30k here in Texas. A $20k S2000 is a ROUGH S2000.
8
XRS was the real upgrade anyway.
8
Tadeu Carabias Celsius is far better than Fahrenheit. This is very correct. -Texan Engineer
8
I feel the same way about FD RX-7. I love those cars, I’m so glad they exist. I do not want one.
8
Poly-engine mounts are always high on the list when I start a new build. I’ve bought five sets over the decades from the same guy (shout out to Kirkasaurus!) for all of my 3S-GTEs. Quite a bit more vibration but it’s a nice deep thrumm anyway and I like it. Power on after shifts is so much more immediate.
