  2. Current AI evolved from essentially huge IF statement systems to more recently (last two decades) into statistical models. This makes the models far and wide superior to any IFs as it simulates understanding. For past 20+ years we also used similar models to do image recognition - essentially pattern match. This again is "good" but not ideal. We need 3rd step - 3rd advancement before T-1000. At least.

  3.  @niv8880  I doubt we move far - as you mentioned current stats models have been worked on for a while and are peaking. We need something NEW - a new revolution - new way to look at things - maybe quantum computing will help. Stat models are reaching their max ability right now.
