Yep. Fire in Russia ===> Partisants. Fire in US --- normal.

Maybe. But I have a feeling Ukraine may be forced to the table this year.
2
Well, it was not a mistake. They simply painted it as a mistake to get extra 3B.
2
They will do as well as current fleet of MiG-29s - they are a direct replacement. Nothing to worry about for Russia - just keeping UA flying longer.
2
Sure, but they cannot stretch Russians as they have force parity - so net effect is that Ukraine got drawn even more into the area making offensive operations anywhere else more difficult.
2
It was predicted at the start of this year by many sources - say New Atlas - that Ukraine will eventually get long range missiles and jets. It was also predicted it will not make any difference to the outcome. They are simply pro-longing the war.

The original accounting was correct - i.e. you use replacement value as you need to replace stuff. For example, in house insurance, the insured value is not actual value but replacement value. Actual value is almost always lower. Reason is pp want a new house if their current one burns down. This is just a sign of desperation on the side of the looser - i.e. Ukraine / US - they are trying to push every little bit they can. What will they say in September? It will be a hard sell.
1
No. Its a region that separated from Moldova after Moldovans did not want to give these pp freedom of language and culture.
1
Nah, not happening. Could escalate rather quickly. Besides, it would force Asia to the war & could end with conventional weapon defeat of NATO & US.
1
LOL, Russia can simply do area denial and there goes any trade route. It would have a valid reason to do so. The coast is too close for Ukraine to be ever able to secure it for shipping against Russian intervention.

@tomlobos2871 Russia is a land power - blocking its ports will not significantly effect it. Blocking its ports however, is an act of war. I.e. Russia and allies would be justified in fighting off NATO. NATO is posed to loose such war even with conventional weapons. Thus I doubt they would want to go into it - this would leave US - and US is not that stupid.

@tomlobos2871 LOL. Sea blockade is an act of war - any google search will show that. Russia does not have to pass any territorial waters of any NATO country. It passes through navigational channels such as Bosporus once in a while but these cannot be denied as per treaties signed. NATO is not set to win a land war. It has lower population by a wide margin and lower capacity to produce everything. It would eventually be forced to use nuclear weapons for defense. Both world wars were won with a factory in hindsight. Here if it goes WWIII again without nukes use NATO is toast. It simply cannot match more than half of the worlds production & cannot match sheer troop numbers. Nor population numbers. Polish army btw, which I know very well is very weak ATM. They are weaker than before the war. I doubt Polish army would force Russia to mobilize more than 300k. You need to think logically. Why do we have this war & why west supports Kiev regime. The war is about West loosing control. West does not want to loose control. The war will be a convenient place in history books to say that from its end Eastern civilization started to lead the earth. I.e. the war is to end dominance of the west & start the dominance of the east. Actual players direct - Ukraine and Russia are of little importance. Ukraine (West) lost the war - BRICS passed G7 before the pandemic and by 2050 would be more than 2x the size. With every year that passes Russia is getting stronger.

This is exactly what happens with a house - you get replacement value, not actual value. Military needs to replace tank X. It cannot replace it with used version of X, but new X. Thus replacement value needs to be used. With a person and a car, there is no such problem - but we see this with houses - you cannot replace with equivalent "used" house - same as in the military. I mean regular houses not mobile stuff.
1
Nah, predicted. Ukraine was running low on MiGs so they need between 50-60 in 2024 if they plan on flying.... not a big deal.
1
True. But so are current MiG-29s.
1
About 30 F-16s with some spare parts and some limited ammo. Maybe 15 if you have more ammo and pilot training.
1
To use effectively they would need to train pilots - minimum training is 18 months. I guess they can always have half trained pilots. In any sense, it will not make much difference.

@pogo1140 Someone that has basic ability to fly, fly and land etc. More or less what west does to UA infantry - basic condensed training - so they do not kill each other.
