Well, with 300k mobilized I expect Ukraine offensive capability to stop by November and depending on whom you ask either winter or spring offensive that will liberate a lot of land. War will continue till eventual loss by Ukraine. I wonder for how long.

We actually know Russian losses - they are between 600 - 700 tanks. So not exactly a big deal - they can sustain these for 10 years based on count in storage (of non garbage tanks).

Cannot do that as you can have picture of all depots at more or less same time while distances are in 1000s of km. So moving any meaningful number of tanks around is not possible. Russia could use "fake" tanks in these depots but they better make them identical to the tanks taken out - b/c digital image processing is quite advanced these days.

@egertroos1691 Right, sure, Ukraine was used as a bucket to add all the land after WWII especially - no "colonization" sure, yeah, history says otherwise, even recent one. Even today language rights, cultural rights etc. in Ukraine are in full colonization mode.

@egertroos1691 Ukraine as a concept was accepted in Poland in 1930s Anytime before 1900 there is not even a single document that mentions the people or idea. There were only "Rus" - not to confuse with "Russians". Russia is much, much older concept. Both Russians (European) and Rus are Poles that were conquered by northern tribes - so either all are Slavs or none are Slavs. I am not talking about tiny minorities - I mean Poland also has its own Tatars (Lipka). Essentially Ukrainians are tribes of people to the east of Poles (Lechici) that recently discovered their difference to other people around them. Their natural hobitat is around city of Zaporozia and Kiev, around river Dniepr. Currently internationally recognized Ukraine is at least 2x larger than their largest extent of land - maybe 3x larger.

@egertroos1691 No, what you call Ruethians are Rus and subdivided into Belarusians and Ukrainians (mostly). Russians (European part) have similar DNA to both Rus and Poles as Rus + Russians used to be related to current Poles Polish tribes. I.e. all European Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians have strong Polish ties as they were all members of tribes that were essentially Polish. People from the north, lets call them Vikings, invaded eastern Polish tribes and created the Kievan Rus that later separated into Rus and Moscovy. Essentially just need to remember that all of them used to be Poles. Also remember where the invasion took place - major rivers from the north. Culturally Ukrainians are not Poles at all - they are eastern culture now with heavy influence from the Mongols - probably even more than European Russians (but close). This is why Russians and Ukrainians can understand each other so well & which is not the case for the Poles - which are far more part of western culture (whatever west accepts that is another question).

@egertroos1691 Depends on which Ugric - the east Ugric were way too far and contact was not established with these pp for 100s of years (or 1000+) Northern Ugric is Finnish and like I said the Fins aka Vikings invaded Poles and turned out to be better warriors - they inner married like with the British and the result was what we have today of people to the east of Poland. So no, there was no ruling class of Slavs - if anything it was the conquerors - the Fins, usually winners rule not the other way around. This also occurred relatively long time ago - as soon as mention of any Rus is given it is after the fact.

@egertroos1691 LOL, the northern people invaded everyone. The land was occupied by Polish tribes - extension of what is in Poland right now. They got invaded from the north. What came out was the Russians or Rus. Even the name Rus is from the north. Kievan Rus was the result of the invasion.
