It is sad that battles fought in Poland and around Poland are not known in the West - one has to note that this was the largest battle of 17th century followed by other battles... also fought in Poland. I.e. the largest military conflicts of 17th century took place... in Poland. By number of soldiers involved.

Sooooo maybe you need to change your comparison ;) Also thanks to certain guy in US pooling the strings US has inefficient 120v with split 240v and no 3ph in their houses. EU and East did not have that US guy and just used ideas of the guy from the East - hence why much better system.... Now do you know the names of the guy from the East and the guy form US? Hint, both now have car companies named after them (electric) - one even two (!)

  3. Wait he did NOT counter the winged hussars as Poles won most of the battles & the treaty was a shortcoming of Polish diplomacy not its army & Poles reversed all losses just 6 years later. Nothing like what Poles did at Kircholm.

  4. The price of average hussar equipment + training + horses could be about as high as such hussar weight (unclothed) in silver - i.e. 80kg or so.
