  13.  @Somenite  LOL, not at all. This war will severely weaken Russia and it is unlikely they will be much of a help to China in just 5 years. Russia may side with China, sell it weapons etc. but unlikely to do much more. Even if they did they will be weak and unlikely to take any NATO country other then say the Baltics - which are kind of of low value. Now currently starting a war with Russia by NATO would severely damage NATO and the west to the point China would have already won. They can just firmly ask Taiwan to join & they surely would. One knows that Russian actual soil would be endangered and NATO military formations would be wiped out by tactical nukes - as is firmly part of their military doctrine. Even if this is kept at minimum and would not escalate NATO and central Europe and large parts of Ukraine / Russia would be smoldering piles of nuclear waste. The death tall may go beyond a million - at minimum.

  14. @Anderson yes of course Russia cannot win conventional war. And yes nukes would be used fairly early on. After all, any no fly zone would require massive nato deployment. 11. Taiwan would fall. US could not invade Russia and fight China at the same time.
