  1. Alligator is more the a decade newer design. It is newer tech. It is way, way more survivable then Apache. Not just ejection seats and lots more armor but also no rear rotor - so it cannot easily get disabled by hit there. That alone makes it far more harder to kill. All other systems are at par or close enough. Just survivability and price are the big differences.
