  1. Most vents are as clean as when they were installed. Maybe some light dust. There is nothing to "clean". I lived in three houses and none newer then 40 and all had pristine vents. Never cleaned.

  2. Did not use a filter in the furtnace? How is this possible? I removed some ducting in a 55 year house and it was as clean as new.
