  1. At current rate it is far and wide more then a single brigade per month ;) They are loosing at least 30k per month KIA / WIA / other. At least. Probably more.

Ukraine follows in exact steps Nazi Germany of 1945. ---- Volksturm is poorly armed, old men that are used to patch up holes in the front -- see how similar these are to territorial defense units? They also have huge casualty rate. ---- strong hope for wounderwaffe - wonder weapons -- - in Ukraine they come from the west ---- fighting for every inch, no turning, back, every German city, I mean Ukrainian is a fortress ---- telling troops to keep fighting as it will be stronger negotiation position - see Germans fighting till May as it will save pp from mass hunger or something like that I call the war for Russia once Donbass salient is taken / Ukrainians are surrounded there.

  3. Problem is there are no videos of Russian troops complaining. None. Zippo. There are no videos showing / talking / etc. about massive casualties. None.

  4.  @ni9274  Umm, nope. In Kherson it was a disaster. Ukraine lost 2 BTG of pp and equipment in the last 72h. There is some indication they try a third time and make it 3 BTGs. They were not pushed a single inch near Popasna - they just taken a new village - Komyshywaha.

  8. They are sending everything they have to the front. equipment, men, everything. Their reserves are paper thin.

  10. They are throwing a lot of men at the issue & Russia is grinding them down. Eventually they run out of men. Wars take time if you are fighting to the very last man or woman. If Russians had such issues - we would know about them - from Russians themselves. They are as vocal as Ukrainians (I wonder why is that). But we do not. Popasna was not halted - they simply move slowly to save their troops. When they crossed the main road they were in the open - so artillery hit them hard. Since they are not paranoid about holding terrain at any cost, they immediately retreated to save troops. They waited till enemy artillery was no more - then move forward. This is what pisses off a lot of Ukrainians - they are killed off one by one, while Russians save their men. It infuriates them.

You watch too much western propaganda. Imagine if this BS "here are horror stories of Russian commanders pointing guns at their troops telling them to get to the front line and fight or get shot. one instance a whole Russian troop brigade turn their guns on a general and his special forces threatening them. " Was true. We would not see small Russian armed force beat living shit out of Ukrainians. Where do you have "ere are horror stories of Russian commanders pointing guns at their troops" as an example - where? Any evidence other then "CNN says so"? Just think logically for a second. Would you in that situation go and be super effective soldier? Would you? I do not think so. Do you think Russians are special?

  14.  mike carson  LOL, imagine you are right, that indeed Russians do not want to fight, that Russians are killed en masse etc. etc. etc. Lets all assume this to be true! But then you have to also add to this that Zielinski claimed that Ukraine has 700k - clearly if you believe in above BS, you also assume rest is true as well. Then the same guys tell you how many troops Russia has - which is around 100 BTG. Then you also have to believe each has 800 to 1000 soldiers. And then it means, using basic math that Russia only has at most 80k in Ukraine. Then you add Russian allies and you get what? 120k? 140k? max. Then you have inconvenient fact that Ukrainians are on defense all over Donbass, cannot attack or are unwilling to & are clearly loosing ground. So facts: -- UA forces 700k -- Russia and allies max 140k -- Russians are gaining ground -- Ukrainians are retreating from heavily fortified positons -- (now yours) Russians are unwilling to attack -- (yours) 50 Americans killed 200 Russians or similar losses - i.e. Russia is taking many times more then Ukraine Now it does not take a genius to figure out that not all these facts can be true at the same time ;) See I am not kidding you. I am just leading you to conclude for yourself that this simply cannot be true.

  17.  @gwynedd1  100 dead + 300 wounded + 100 others (captured, deserted etc.) out of 300 wounded about half are not coming back. So you have 500 - 150 about 350. times 30. Which is indeed two brigades. But if you admit on TV you are loosing 100, the reality is you are loosing at least 2x as much. Plus there are other fronts, so 3x as much. But even with say 2 brigades we have a problem that you are exchanging experienced troops with heavy weapons for light infantry with 2 weeks training - so their losses will be heavy. Or they just surrender, or they refuse to fight etc. (seen all on video).

  19. Nah, these are cannon fodder - aka fertilizer. Each new Ukrainian recruit gets sunflower seeds. If you admit to 100 dead the real number is probably more like 200 and on other fronts its another 100.

  21.  @SaulKopfenjager  But there will not be any major deliver as there are no weapons available to deliver. This is what these guys do not get. By August their losses will be huge in man power and equipment - at current rate there is no way they can replenish their losses - it will only get worse.
