Russians are giving land for blood. Once they have the man power holding the line will be easy and they will retake any land they deem worthy of retaking. You can see Ukraine is simply too weak to win the war even against non mobilized Russia. Against extra 300k or more Russians they have zero chance. Kiev, however, will continue the war until they run out of Ukrainians stupid enough to fight or US says stop.

@carlosproano840 Yes, it feels like wishful thinking on the part of Putin. Its like a small dog fighting a bear. Bear did not take it seriously and suddenly was painfully bitten.

They need to get mobilized troops onto the front line. Patience. You can already see Ukrainian offensive slowing down. In few weeks it will stop and we have reversal during the winter / spring.

@enriqueperezarce5485 Nah these are mobilized ex soldiers - i.e. veterans. They are not stupid. Plus to create panic Ukraine would actually need to break through - which seems unlikely.

I doubt they have more than 2 to 3 weeks before Russians are way too strong. Then in winter spring we see Russians pushing them out.

@pauljames5079 Why wouldn't they? Russia probably has winter military clothing for around 10m people. Give or take a million.
