"he United States acknowledges that Chinese on either side of the Taiwan Strait maintain there is but one China and that Taiwan is a part of China." This may be intentionally ambiguous for 1970 but not today - given that Taiwan is recognized as "China" by like 10 states and PRC is recognized as China by like 200 (including US) we can see that in vast majority of cases - like 99,9% of humanity China === PRC. So "Taiwan is a part of China" ==> Taiwan is part of PRC as China == PRC. US stance is also mirrored around the world.

  4. Nah, China would do island hopping - i.e. it would get closer and closer to Taiwan. Eventually Taiwan would loose its missiles or run out. They could not make any more as their factories would be on fire. Also China has nice asymmetric methods to transport a lot of troops.

  5.  @callumjohnston858  Not at all - Russia has almost 6x the population and has suffered far lesser losses in man power. They have far more equipment plus they manufacture a lot more equipment and ammo. I.e. essentially I 100% disagree with all you said. It is more adequate what you said to be of Ukraine - Ukraine has huge manpower issues, they have huge equipment issue, huge training issue and no economy.

I.e. US and most of the world recognize Taiwan as part of PRC. So exactly opposite of what you said. This makes sense - US recognizes only PRC. US recognizes that Taiwan is part of China. Since US does not recognize any other "China", Taiwan must be part of PRC.

  10.  @justADeni  Ukraine suffered around 4x losses as they have inferior fire power. I.e. Ukraine is out of troops --- this is seen by artillery use on both sides. Ukraine reserves are being depleted. Give it few months and there will not be 120k but 0k. There is no more equipment from NATO ---- see NATO summit. Russia is keeping up nicely - no decrease in ammo use. No we do not see North Korean shells - not even a single on. We have also not seen so far even a single T54/ T-55 in use.

  11. Russia converted an old mall into assembly plant for drones. They are using 100s of kamikaze drones per day. Many other plants are operating. Russian drone production and innovation is huge.

  13. Fingers crossed for a stacked sentence on all 4 charges. She could be retried on remaining 3 charges AFAIK. Hope is for something with meaning, like 40 years. I think 10 years per charge, 50% of maximum is going easy on her. Should be stacked due to her role in the crime, severity, and $ involved. She could be out as soon as 34 years! If judge wants to throw a book, give her max - 80 years. Personally I would not mind max.

  15.  @justADeni  Last time I checked Ukraine not Russia went into general mobilization in multiple regions. If they do not ask for terms this year I expect Ukraine will need to go into full general mobilization this year.

  22. Better make a video of the best drone hands down of the war so far - Lancet 3 the killer of Ukraine tanks and armor. That thing is just wonderful. Easy to use & powerful enough for most uses. Russia is now releasing new Lancet 52 - it will be operated from modified vehicles with tube system and greater payload as well as range.

Progozin tried to recruit some convicts from prisons and after rudimentary training use them as gun meat. They were ineffective for various reasons, but mostly due to their criminal past. This is why program ended. Russians have enough guns in Russia for every man, woman and child. Come on. Its staple of the cold war. Same with ammo. So no issues with weapons. If you were right Ukraine would not have run into a wall in Zaporozia and in the Donbas. Wagner is gone to Belarus. Russian army is left. Ukraine elite units are decimated. On video. How do you explain that?

  32. Their losses are enormous - Russians are doing excellent job - far better than expected by anyone pro Russia - at doing mobile defense. Russians minimize their own losses and maximize enemy losses while trading as little territory as possible. Russians use mining in security zone as well as huge advantage in artillery to destroy most Ukrainian attacks before they even reach Russian controlled territory - i.e. almost all Ukrainian equipment and manpower is lost before they even see a single Russian. Russian superiority in drones in now legendary as they use them to attack Ukraine armor in the open. The heavy UA losses in equipment forced Ukraine to use more light infantry leading to epic level losses in man power. In the last few days Russia has shown how to correctly assault heavy defended lines - minimizing losses and moving ahead.

Bottom line is China still has a LONG way to go while US is at its peak. Every 80 to 120 new empire rises to rule the earth. The time of US is over.
