@Lasse65 Ukraine before the war, as per Ukraine had 37m. Out of that 37m more then 7m left the country. Out of the reminder a lot of men and women are in territories freshly occupied by Russians. So what is left? 28m? 27m? And do you think the pp will just watch 1000s killed per day? And are all these able bodied men? Realistically Ukraine can rise up maybe over a million. So within few years they loose most of these. Russia recruited another 60k or so troops recently and trained some / many. That is about 2x++ more then currently deployed troops!!! US also raised the age during times of conflict! So what - its natural thing to do. Having more possible pp is a good thing. Russia is not running out of troops anytime soon. Besides - they can always mobilize.

@terjeoseberg990 <--- believes not his own eyes and ears but BS propaganda.

@ChucksSEADnDEAD Size is relevant - this is how war were won or lost.

@Lasse65 Ukraine government knows how many tax payers it has. So its 37m. Period. Why would we remove women and children - they come with husbands as well ;) There are no 6 million. Not from such a small country. Germany during WWII in 1943 had just under 7m troops. And that is from just over 110m people (!) So we use about 6% of the population as our "peak". Which also nicely translates to sizes of other armies (allies). as per my calculus Ukraine has at most 28m or even maybe less now. So their top strength is at most around 1.7m. And that is at most. Realistically they be lucky to even get to half that number. Realistically they loose at least 1000 per day as casualties. Even if some come back we are talking about loosing at least 300k per year. At least. So they will be done at current rate in less then 3 years. I think Russia can live with 3 years. Maybe 4 years if they bring a lot of women in.

@davidfaraday7963 If the movement was so strong war would not last as long as it did! So I call total BS on "could not deploy more" yet could fight a war for... wait for it a decade! (this does not count the almost 10 years when US was not involved directly). So for 10 years the "anti-war movement back home was becoming too much even for the pentagon" is a bit ... off. Note that at peak US had more then 1/2 million people serving in Vietnam at a time. If we adjust for population this would place Russia at around 400k+ serving which is more then triple its current capability! As you can see, clearly you over estimate the power of anti war movement!

Russia won the war as defeat as defined by Ukraine and idiot Z is not possible. On the other hand Russian goals are so modest & almost all achieved that it is hard to imagine them loosing. It is as simple as that. Easy logic. As to 3:38 - it is clear that Ukraine cannot push Russia out as they never actually did even attempt hard at doing so - Russians and allies are still moving forward as they did for past 6 months. Russia has a lot to escalate with - its idiotic to think the do not! We can see one day total war which would kill millions of people - certainly we do not want to escalate to that. Finally thinking that Russia is weak got certain Adolf to get his teeth knocked in.

He is crazy pro Ukraine man, what do you expect??!!

EU can be negotiated. No NATO is mandatory. Land is optional. Actual documents were signed in March - Putin shown them to African delegation. I.e. peace was super close in March but UK blew it up with promises.
1
Why would Russia evacuate? they can easily move heavy equipment such as tanks over. They have spare bridges.
1
What "stalemate" -- Russia has been steadily advancing in Donbass for months. Now this advance is gaining speed.
1
@Jagonath Ah yes, you have 10x advantage in fire power your enemies are running out of men and yet some people claim you are the one taking heavier losses ;)))))
1
They do. Russia has 100x more. It is that way with everything. This is why Ukraine man power losses are so huge.

Russia does not care about using any power to do any influence in the west ;)

Putin clearly said, during visit in Belarus, that there will be no negotiations with Ukraine as there is no one to negotiate with. Ukraine needs to surrender unconditionally. There will be no negotiations. Surrender or overrun. Russia will go all the way.
1
Russia just moved into advance and attack in Kherson and has captured multiple towns in last 48h. They are trying to disable single supply bridge for Ukraine and if they advance 10km in the north they cut off any land supply route. So I wonder if Ukraine will loose next big city in the region.
1
Does not make sense as flooding the islands means flooding equally low land on Russian side. No explanation - logical - points finger at Russia.

@pinkyfull 40% of EU equipment was sent and Russia is winning....
1
@maurvir3197 Russian reserves are increasing as we speak - have you seen their production??? Their aerial bomb development? Missile production??? At this rate they should pass US military power index this year. NATO plan, if there was one, totally backfired.
1
@maurvir3197 Russia did not switch to some total war economy. West is NOT handling Ukraine some excess old material - captured US Bradley was made in 2012. "Remember, the US and Europe are still in peace-time economies and aren't spending significantly on materiel production." EU does not have any means to do any "production" and they have no money to spend. They EU is on the brink of bankruptcy. The US military spending NOT AT WAR combined with interests payments are larger than that of Russia (!) US spends almost 50% of its tax income on military and interest payments.... I am sure US can somehow spend more on the military - maybe causing little starvation here and there ;) One has to note that aid to Ukraine is largest in human history. It is larger than all combined aid US sent during WWII. Expenditures on weapons alone are equivalent to all of EU - i.e. same number of tanks by value is sent to Ukraine per year as all of EU purchases. Eventually west may force China to enter the chat and it will dwarf any total war economy whole west can create. West made huge mistake by entering this war and now there does not seem to be any exit possible other than Russian total defeat of Ukraine. What do you propose? That west sends 2x purchase of weapons for all of EU to Ukraine??? Where will all that come from? Even if billions were spent to ramp up production - money that does not exist - it would take years to industrialize. Even with Hitler at the helm of Germany and Himmler saying that either you make a tank or die its not possible. It took Soviets 20 years to industrialize with millions that starved.... 20 years! Even with ramped up production by 2x we see Russia has at least 5x the advantage in ammo. In defense to overwhelm Russia one would need 3x or 4x production. Even with that you would need more people - people that Ukraine does not have. So either you need to send the French to the trenches or provide even more equipment. So say 6x. Where will all that stuff come from? People just don't seem to know how to count and realize they are asking for impossible.
1
Well, they were overrun - they could not hold superior numbers and far better equipped Russian forces.
