7:06 - why would it take Russia 6 months to a year to take Pokrovsk? Ukraine is on the ropes. They don't have man power to defend the city. City does not have any fortifications. I say this year it will surely fall. We see who is right.

They have no blackouts and fastest growing economy in Europe....

What? You should say its Russian strategy.

@philliptemple9841 Russian forces are advancing on about 500km front. Everywhere. They have an advantage in everything. The main question is will Ukraine surrender or will continue resisting once Russia captured whole river line.

LOL, 100% propaganda. Delusional one. I come here for comedy.

@sjs9698 For political reasons Russians are very adverse to any losses - thus the heavy use of troops from Chechnya, mercenary units, prisoners etc. combined with heavy use of artillery to wipe out enemy at absolutely minimal cost. Russian strategy also does not seem to care much about land gained as they retreated a LOT since the start of the war. This is in difference to "no step back" strategy of Zielinski whom refused for UA troops to retreat from multiple cities. This has caused massive casualties which now result in UA not having enough troops to defend massive front line. The disaster operation at Kursk only quickened Russian advance. Despite this UA command lead by Zielinski still refuses to do a general retreat allowing Russians to create more meat grinders which Ukraine cannot afford.

@thedutchfoxxx All these 3 you mentioned failed.

LOL!

Yes Ukraine created a dilemma for itself. Either call Kursk a failure and retreat herby creating PR disaster and lesser gifts for the war effort leading to quick defeat OR keep Kursk alive and lose Pokrovsk enabling Russians to move in any direction with ease thereby leading to defeat. So what would you pick?

He is super pro UA propagandist. Even when they start storming Kiev he will still say UA can win.
3
Bakhmut was around 3m - Pokrovsk is bigger (its two cities actually) at over 100k population but I recon at most a month to take it as UA is spent.

@krjohnson29 Umm 3m == 3 months ;) "Bakhmut was around 3m - Pokrovsk is bigger (its two cities actually) at over 100k population" -- need to read more carefuly what I wrote, "Pokrovsk is bigger" and "at over 100k population". I am actually not pro Russia but pro common sense - Russia is winning the war and propaganda machine trying to say its no is becoming out of control.
2
@BTinSF I think Ukraine will now be lucky to hold 50% with left bank going to Russia + Odessa.

@CrazyGaming-ig6qq Russia should liberate Donbass by this winter. all of it. As per current advance.

@philliptemple9841 I went to deep state UA maps and they are making huge advances. In one day they managed to advance as much as they did for the entire month. In one day they advanced more then the Kursk offensive did per day over two weeks. Within days they advanced approximately 10km. There is no evidence of "huge cost" but there seems to be plenty of evidence of huge UA losses especially to Russian drones. As Russian electronic welfare capability went up even deep state admits only 10% of UA drones make it anywhere close to the targets intended for. Ukraine does not need to surrender if they don't want to. They simply will be overrun and destroyed. Either Kiev regime will be replaced by Russia friendly dictator or after even more de population all of Ukraine will be absorbed into Russia.

@Lizardo451 I watched news almost every day from the start.

But this is chief UA propaganda channel. Even Forbs David Axe admitted to losses as UA propaganda is unable to cover for absolute failure of the army.
1
@thedutchfoxxx Why would anyone need copium in Russia - they are clearly winning the war. Ukraine made epic level mistake of invading Kursk. Russians are very happy about how things have turned out. No one in Russia that is in charge cares about "getting humiliated" - this is purely western thing.
1
@philliptemple9841 It will be a disaster as there are no defense lines behind it, attacks from it can go and hit rear of UA defenses in Donbass. so it is not just cutting UA supply it ensuring that supply goes to Russians.
1
UA is running out of people.... let that sink in.
1
@philliptemple9841 No, are you?
1
LOL - for propaganda free stuff look to weeb union - he just released an hour commentary on the war.

Well, they were overrun - they could not hold superior numbers and far better equipped Russian forces.
