Nah, by spring Ukraine will loose a lot of land. Russia did mobilize quicker than expected and is already making an impact.

Russia managed to stop Ukraine much faster than expected. I still think Ukraine will continue attacks till about November. I expect by Spring it will be clear Ukraine is getting very bloody nose. Russia may want to cut Ukraine from Poland. Just to make sure it is clear to Kiev there is no path to victory. It is getting more and more clear to anyone sane that Ukraine lost the war. Russia is willing to escalate as much as it needs to make sure it wins, no matter the cost.

@migsvensurfing6310 I am sorry to break your world but Russia has won as it has achieved it strategic goal of stopping NATO. Since it has achieved it goals it has won. That is the definition of a win. Win may come at a high price, but that does not change it being a win. There is actually almost nothing left to sanction. West has sanctioned 90%+ of what it can sanction. Thus, currently west has no leverage left - as it used up all sanctions it could use. Also note that Russia is doing far better with sanctions than EU is doing - i.e. Russian economy and its counter sanctions were well thought off and worked! Note Euro is now less than USD, UK pound is almost even with US. All of Europe + UK are in recession.
