@Misterskillzz7 It was better then Blitzkrieg - look at Blitzkrieg - Germans moved much slower through Poland for example. After 1 week of fighting Russia already controls almost as much territory as Germany in 1939 did after over a month (!) I.e. Poland did much, much better in 1939 then Ukraine did in 2022.

Still did not see a single video of Javelin taking out a Russian tank. Heck, other then firing at abandoned tank I have not seen a single video of NLAW firing. I have seen about 5 destroyed Russian tanks. All of 5. Not exactly large number. I am sure actual losses are much higher, could be as high as 30 - 40 by now. About half or so can be fixed if Russians want to. But given they are using old stuff that they have 1000s in storage I bet they just scrap all unless tiny damage.

NATO did not achieve air superiority over Serbia after 2.5 months. Serbs were flying low and hitting targets in Kosovo while F-15s were above them.

Russia is simply not able to win this against 1000s of "reinforcements" from EU and US. I mean if you read postings by people you would think Ukraine is winning the war not loosing badly.

@grandayatollah5655 I estimated total war losses at 200 before start of this and was told that is way too high (and at least half of these to be repaired). I guess I may have been wrong. We see by the end of this - maybe.

They are also arming kids - on day 2 Zielniski removed age restriction of 18.

@eduwino151 It is unlikely they "hold" anything. They liberate Russian speaking areas, they may create puppet regime of East Ukraine and that will be it. No insurgency - their own pp will not fire on them. Notice that the best fighters are from Crimea - the same army that just few years back was ... Ukrainian.
