So far Putin is doing great on military front. We see how well he does on other fronts. Bottom line is even if his regime ends and he is replaced do not expect the next guy to like give back Crimea - which is now see in Russia as pure Russia or not protect two Donbass republics. In short end of Putin just means either a worse guy or one that is more neutral. Certainly new leader of Kremlin will not drop to his knees and beg the west - as if he did that his head would quickly be removed from his shoulders.
