  1. There is problem even with the bear fight - predator would not see it "fit" to attack a bear from behind - it does not seem sporting enough. It would de cloak, grab bear's attention and engage. As for hunting bear by herself with a low draw bow and somewhat period appropriate arrows - lol. Good way to anger the bear ;) Even a girl from that society would know it ;) Women did help men hunt a bear - in Polish literature, one of the most famous books, a girl is interested in a boy whom foolishly goes to hunt a bear by himself. She follows him and helps him by sticking the bear from behind in a critical moment. Through I doubt she was 100lbs and clueless like this one - i.e. she knew how she could help and when.
