  1. 95% of Russians say Crimea is Russia. There is very strong support for Donbass - probably over 80%. So peaceful Russians will fight for their homes.

  3. I doubt sanctions will be put of in the next 20 years or more. I doubt Putin can live 20 more years. I doubt Russia - West relations will be normal for many decades.

  4. No, I say that they are almost certain if Russia is threatened. There is no "blowing" of wind with tactical nukes. I suspect any attack on Crimea would mean use of such weapons.

  11. 99% hardliners. Even with say 1% chance of say Navalny taking over he officially stated that Crimea is Russia. So I doubt any change in Kremlin would mean normalization of ties or end of the war.

  13.  @JossWainwright  Russia strategy so far is working - it is pushing EU and seeing their resolve. That resolve is not as strong as it seems. EU also does not want the war that is super damaging to them. Only US is here pushing for more war. As for NATO, who cares - this is economic war not military. The war is mostly between US and Russia - so far Russia is winning the war. We see how it plays out in the future, but I predict that Russia will come on top.

  14.  @tigertank370  Military would certainly not wait for mobilization & would announce it after 1st month + they would have multiple waves of 300k plus they would make way for these 300k with some tactical nukes. Finally military would have started the war few years earlier. Putin is playing with Ukraine too much - military does not play - they smash.
