  1. Right of repair should be universal. We already seeing this right being eroded in auto industry, mainly be companies such as Tesla. It should be a strong law preventing any attempts to hinder right to repair with huge fines in billions. After market companies should be 100% allowed to make spare parts - same as in inkjet printer industry or coffee pods. Its nice JD is making billions - but remember that society is paying for these profits - its average people that have to eat. JD is making America less competitive on world stage. Hiding behind safety is a shame. Shame. He should listen to himself few times. You can change brakes on your car (still) which can go over 100mph but you cannot do stuff to slow farm equipment due to... safety? Really? Is that the best you can do?

  2. Why would China accept British borders? Anyone wonder WHY? You know, the same British that drawn the lines to maximize their empire? How about we look at Pakistan, where the whole eastern part is land "won" by the British from Afghanistan? Heck, even today Pakistan is afraid of Afghan uprising there & you cannot enter the area as a tourist. Same thing with India - British guy created a border which was great for him. It is now problematic to figure out where it should be. One cannot trust the British, but its not like Chinese are 100% honest either. And hence the conflict. Maybe both sides should just agree to current borders? Obviously its impossible for both sides to be happy. So maybe both upset is a solution?

  4. Wait it was not "first" - Soviets were the first & fastest just that "first" cost them a lot in noise and reliability. The reason both supersonic jets were failures is simple - with current technology it simply costs WAY too much to fly supersonic vs. subsonic. Not only there are cost problems there are where can you fly problems - you can only go supersonic over water (it is noise thing - related to sonic boom - no tech will change physics).

  5. Lots of incorrect info. AMD maker of fastest chips in the world does not use any of the listed companies. Nvidia also makes their own chips. No one seems to know how many chips Simic makes in China. They are not listed. Despite multiple brand new factories. Simic moved to 7nm process (2021), cutting edge. Main problem with China current manufacturing is that they do not make enough cutting edge stuff - it will take few years before they have enough volume. This will be a death kneel for a lot of western companies. Thus Smic matches today's best in the world. This was made by TMSC - nice propaganda.
