Russia needs to use more and more its air power. More. Much more. Even at a cost of temporarily weakening other areas of Russia. Also partial mobilization may be needed to put an end to any future Ukrainian offensives or hopes of victory.

We seen some - they did push UA forces back - but we don't know for sure what is going on.

Its panic for civilians and maybe militia. As for Russians they are moving in reinforcements and even reinforcing with VDV troops key areas. If it was hopeless they would retreat beyond the river.

@ragnarthegr842 Well, the ball is still at play. We see what happens. It is strange that Dima noticed like two weeks ago there is lots of UA armor in the area of Izium and Russians did not.

Maybe - depends - either they are in terrible situation or are actually in good situation. Depends how many troops they have left. If they have large reserves then yes, UA is going to get smashed bad. But do they? Does not seem so.

Well, Ukrainian troops are out in the open - if they can use their air power that can do a lot of killing. They can also see whatever they can cut some of them off.

@djames693 Yes, it would be very hard to believe that Russian high command is this stupid - after all they somehow did manage to win against Nazi Germany so their officer schools cannot be that bad.

@umenhuman7573 troop numbers are important. Your 10 man team can block mg position with 4 and remaining 6 are free to flank them. Sure equipment matters but is a force multiplier not magic. I. E. Three infantry men are less powerful then a t72. But if you have 12 with at weapons that t72 is no longer as scary.

They got reinforcements recently - this is why some blame on UA success in Kharkiv.

What do you mean? Russians are already counter attacking and pushed Ukrainians back - not on this video as it was made some time ago. Russia is moving large numbers of their own troops. It is shaping up to be a large maneuver battle.
