The war entered "Syrian" phase where Russians mostly support DPR / LPR forces. As long as progress is made, they seem happy.

@redraptor9688 Well in WWII a single MG with like 3 Germans stopped whole French division ;) Its probably small units fighting. Like company sized. Also once guys under bridge loose few pp they may get replacements and whole thing just continues. This war is "low on soldiers". I.e. very few troops, from both sides.

@UzumakiNaruto_ Well, UA losses are between 3x to 5x as high as DPR / LPR.... so I see UA forces as cannon fodder. Russia taken losses but nothing major. No one mentions Russia eliminating 20 ammo dumps a day. But if Ukraine takes 1 (One) out it makes the news ;) Russia has won this war and is in full control. They can slow it down or speed it up. Ukraine is there to watch the progress they can do nothing about.

@UzumakiNaruto_ Its not a belief - its clearly backed by facts on the ground. Russian allies are moving forward, Ukraine is sending untrained conscripts to patch holes while Russians are turning these conscripts into meat. How can anyone deny this when we see it with our own eyes? And how many tanks Ukraine lost then??? Why is it so rare to see these tanks ;) Russia slowed down b/c facts on the ground show NO RUSSIANS ;) Why would fighting low intensity for Russia conflict be actually so bad? They are fighting in Ukraine, they are moving forward, their costs are minimized, winter is coming, Ukraine is devastated in like 10 different ways. WHY did US hold back in Vietnam???? I mean they could just send massive number of troops - no? Again, Ukraine lost the war. They cannot take any land back. They are slowly pushed back while their country has zero investment, millions that run away and possible huge food shortages coming not counting having freezing pp in winter. Without any chance of turning this around its madness to continue. Even if it takes Russia say 2 years to reach Dnieper river they still will get there. They can just fortify and enjoy having 50% of Ukraine. What you say to that - Ukrainian victory? Even today Russia can simply stop. They can just liberate Donbass and stop. What is Ukraine going to do? Seriously - how many years they can keep fighting without moving forward while expense for Russia is minimal?
