  1. How about multi purpose? It can be 2nd strike, but can also be used for sneak attack against a carrier group. Imagine sending this unlimited range loitering nuke to likely area of enemy carrier operations! Area denial? Why not - even if carrier group is not there it sure would make sure it will never enter the area with this sucker loitering. Its similar to weapons in the air, but in the water instead.
