Well, he is a professional comedian ... so he better be a joke or a joker.

Its easy, Ukraine is not independent country, its now a US puppet. US does not care about "Ukraine" as its pp but as a tool to weaken its competitor, Russia. So US is using Ukraine to whack Russia with it. Latest is Ukraine wanting to join NATO and missile emplacement in it. This is a red line for Russia as it would mean it would loose its sovereign right. So no matter the cost, Russia needs to stop US. US is happy as with Ukrainian lives and EU money it is keeping Russia low. Got it now?
3
Actually US did get itself involved a lot after fall of France especially. Millions of USD in aid were sent. German ships were fired on, etc.
3
Wow, propaganda is super strong on Ukrainian side. This is 100% fake. Imagine family not knowing that war has started despite every news network in Russia blaring it out. Then add to it the attacks on civilian infrastructure. If you actually saw these then cities would look like Grozny. I cannot believe some people are so gullible to believe in that. Also how would he even know they are attacking civilian infrastructure - was he in artillery? Does this seem very "convenient" or what? Truth is the 1st casualty of war.
3
US is forcing a war with Ukrainian blood and EU money to weaken Russia. If Ukraine is stupid enough to go for it then it alone will pay the heaviest price.

@ritemolawbks8012 Why would government poison him with a know agent associated in the west with Russia? The sheer idea of that is a joke. If Putin wanted to get rid of him he would assign KGB agents to create a car accident. Or some other method of killing him & he for sure would be dead not "able to recover without any ill effects". He could have done what court asked him & if he was still arrested it would had to be on a different charge. Why wait few weeks to come back and get arrested on old charge - if they had to manufacture new charge he would expose the system. Anyways guy is safe - Putin will make sure nothing bad happens to him as it is Russian / Soviet doctrine to keep such people alive and healthy. You want to make sure opposition is well known to you & you want to create a known systemic opposition. I don't know whom poisoned Navalny but I am 100% sure it was not ordered by Putin.
2
Idea is to virtue signal help to Ukraine not actually get involved. Also US is very cheap with their help - they should replace all 23 machines with nice somewhat newish F-16s but there seem to be friction in doing that. All 23 MiG-29As are more or less similar to F-16A/B except maybe older. I.e. they are disintegrating right now & were scheduled for scrapping once F-35s were to be delivered in few years.
2
Bad comparison - much better is Cuban missile crisis - there Soviets were installing, in a state that was friendly to them, missiles that were able to threaten US at moments notice. US got ready to invade. Same here, US is setting up Ukraine to be such "Cuba" for Russia.
2
@duderdude4831 US stole plenty of land and no one talks about that. Also no one talks about how Crimea ended up in Ukraine at the end of Soviet Union dissolution. Same as no one talks about why Ukraine is so big - I mean the only time they ever occupied the map they were the size of Hungary today & even that is arguable.
2
They tried in Cuba. Did not go too well. US blockaded Cuba and had more then enough troops to invade. Heck, they even went so far as to have nukes ready.
2
Wow, and who told you this BS?
2
Excellent idea - Poland should also offer all of their old Su-22M4s - they are similar to Su-25s but export variant. All to be replaced by F-16s in almost new condition. Soon this war will cost US more then Russia ;)

Actually no, he violated the parole after he did not return immediately after being cured. I am sure the charge itself is over the top but I wonder WHY he did not immediately return? He was warned but did not return anyways.
1
@ritemolawbks8012 that is official reason given by court. He was warned. He was healthy. So why not come back? Court seems to be reasonable. Sure call was made 4 days before deadline and it is political but has sound basis as well. All he had to do is return as asked.
1
@tcos918 Its called an upgrade and great virtue signaling. Junk that was to be trashed will become brand new or slightly used F-16. Actual help to Ukraine will be minimal but in case Zielinski complains once can easily tell him - you got planes - be happy.
1
@milesinnz Putin is easily winning this and will win. The game is to hurt Putin using blood from Ukraine.
1
@milesinnz LOL, Putin is winning and no wars are not instant - it took US 3 weeks to get to Baghdad and Iraq was just after huge war, with heavy sanctions and not helped by billions in aid. LOL Ukraine winning? LOL. Show me this "victory" on the map. Captured Russian plan calls for 15 days. We are still few days from Odesa but not yet on day 15. So they are like on the money or a day / two behind. When Poland was communist its economy as measured by US was somewhere in the middle of Africa. There is a video of people escaping from Dnipro - heavy traffic. What is interesting that a country with 1/3 of income of Russia has ... multiple Porsche Cayenne stuck in traffic. Back to Poland in the 80s, when my mother went to UK in the 80s they could not believe that her clothes were her own... as she was better dressed then locals ... and that was in ... London. You know, capital of UK. They thought she had... rental clothing LOL. Again, you don't have a clue of what exactly you are talking about.
1
@milesinnz you ever visited your family in another country? Why so obsessed with a stock market. There was none in Soviet times yet people were fine.
1
@milesinnz My God, communist countries did not have any economy! Who knew.
1
@milesinnz Most western countries are moving towards some form of socialism which is what Soviet block used to have. Sure, they went on a new offensive between Kharkiv and Donbass - captured around 2000 square km and multiple small towns. Maybe you did not get a memo - even shown on wikipedia thus rather Ukraine centric. I am sure they move even more in the next two days. What the heck is trebant - I bet you mean trabant - east German car, which was called vacuum cleaner as it had rather revolutionary feature, it had a lot of plastic body panels.
1
He came back to get arrested and get into news. He could have come back few weeks ago & not get arrested (at least on this charge) - why didn't he?
1
@duderdude4831 There was no Ukraine in 1950s. Ukraine as a country was created after dissolution of Soviet Union. The 1990s treaty also removed the objection of Russia to Ukraine having Crimea - predominantly Russian populated and at least near historically Russian land in order for Ukraine to give up nukes. The leader of Ukraine at the time played weak Yeltsin to get Crimea. Things flipped recently when strong Putin played weak Ukrainian leaders to get it back. I actually did not refer to Native Americans at all, not even Texas or California or other land, I was more in line with more recent stuff, such as Kosovo, or Afghanistan or Iraq etc. Kosovo was created same as Crimea except no one bothered with referendum. Iraq and Afghanistan were (are) puppet regimes of US, in Afghanistan case the puppet was killed off by the locals. The point is why throw rocks when in glass house - why can US do this and somehow its OK. And do this 10x more then Russia.

@duderdude4831 There was no Ukraine - it was just a province of Soviet Union. I know history very, very, very well. Ukraine was in Soviet times, same as Belarus a set of provinces made up of former Polish lands and to which newly taken Polish lands were added. Crimea itself was never part of Poland as it was land of the Golden Horde that constantly invaded Poland. Poland had the Cossacks that went in after Turkey - or Ottomans as they were known. Catharine the great was a great leader as she, a German princess, not only broken the back of Ottomans but also of Poland that was weaken by democracy and liberum veto. She was the one that after multiple wars with Ottomans conquered Crimea - for the first time in history for her Russia. When looking at Ukraine in prismat of history we see that they never actually had a country and are a loose set of tribes that did not join together with tribes that formed Poland. There was an uprising of what some call "Ukrainians" few hundred years ago but their lands were tiny, about 1/6 of todays huge enormous Ukraine. Bottom line is Ukraine is as big today thanks to Soviets whom made it so big. As to Khrushchev it was administrative transfer - he did it as he was Ukrainian himself. It was one big Soviet Union - I would not really read too much into it. After dissolution of Soviet Union there were so many little wars as similar transfers have created ethnic problems. The whole thing should have been solved with simple referendums - as at the end of WWI - each region voted where they wanted to be, say in German or in Poland.
1
Relax, this is clearly fake.
1
@matthewplayspc3197 This is a bit famous incident - most pp know about it.
1
@matthewplayspc3197 Both US and Soviets knew about almost certain use of tactical nukes. US prepared few dozen nukes for the operation. Use of nukes was expected.
1
I bet $100 not a single one will be able to go into the air after 3 days.
1
Wait the minute - Bandera did not come from present day Polish lands - he came from lands that are now part of Ukraine. And he killed over a million Poles. No one in Poland wants any Bandera's back. They can go to Russia where Putin will deal with them.
1
Well and what is Mr. Z doing - sending whatever is left of Ukrainian people to fill in the shoes of the dead. Musk has the same peace plan as me - no NATO for Ukraine ever. Otherwise Putin will have to continue the war till either Ukraine quits or runs out of people.
1
Send them in crates after removing NATO equipment. By the time they are combat ready & we are talking about 40 year old planes, MiG-29As This way they would not aggravate Russians but virtue signal help for Ukraine. Win - Win.
1
@alfaromeo6985 LOL nope. If this was another dictator they would just make a deal or fight a proxy war. Wait... they sort of are doing this.
1
As usual problem can be traced back to the US. It is the US that needs to keep Russia down and what is the best way? Involve it in a war - proxy one. With EU paying and Ukrainians dying. Excellent. Russia cannot allow Ukraine to get missiles same way as US could not allow Cuba to have missiles. This is same as Cuba missile crisis but reverse. Its Ukrainian missile crisis. Mystery is the timing.
1
@mpalfadel2008 Who are the "we"? I doubt Ukraine can invade Kalingrad given that it would need to cross through Belarus. Also for all purposes military Koningsberg is connected to Russia through land. Finally you can thank British for even there being Koningsberg - more to the point thank Winston.
1
@mpalfadel2008 I doubt it. Koningsberg is quite well defended. Any attack would mean entry of Belarus into the conflict and Russians overrunning Lithuania. Poles would need to worry about 400km border with Belarus. Most Poles actually don't mind Russians, they are culturally similar. We joke about some things, like women using extensive red lipstick.
1
@mpalfadel2008 In Poland it is a fish that grants three wishes. Golden fish.

Too bad Biden was not left alone. He had two minders with him to make sure he keeps the line... and is awake.
