  1. Chances of Ukraine capturing Krasny Liman are now less then 10%. This offensive looks like was defeated as well. Russian totally bled UA troops dry and they no longer have offensive power to continue. I expect UA forces to loose most of the land captured in the next few weeks. Same as in Kherson.

  2. They have very good defenses there and Ukrainians cannot break them despite taking epic losses.

  10.  @peacebewu  That is rather trivial - they have not enough pp for a huge front line. There are like 600 pp per 20km. Or even less. Plus UA has huge # advantage.

  13.  @celebrim1  Currently they luck the forces, but not in the future. It is a see-saw war - side that has advantage will push and than be pushed by once it looses such advantage.

  14.  @celebrim1  Well, things change - west supplied Ukraine with lots of weapons & they managed to get lots of forces - but that was not 3 months ago but more like 4 / 5. 3 months ago Russian and allied forces stopped and run out of steam - after taking Kremmina. There was no talk by me about end of the war 3 months ago - maybe 5 or 6. but not 3. It was clear 3 months ago that war may last years. It certainly looks like war will not be over this year or even by the start of 2023. I still hold that Russia won this war as I do not see path of victory for Ukraine. I expect Russia will retake Donbass and will have gains by early 2023. I expect Ukraine to run out of steam in around a month - i.e. by November.
