  1. Imagine, Russians held off Ukraine offensive while on the other bank of the river. Now Ukraine wants to do an offensive, while weaker, Russia stronger ... and while Russia is protected by the river. I expect a huge number of losses for Ukraine as Russia creates multiple fire bags.

  3. Depends on size - I expect few 1000s of soldiers to cross. If they encounter no resistance more can come. The Russians will have to deal with the crossings and divide their forces. But given Russian reserves in the area I would not worry too much about this.

  4. Excellent news. Soon the offensive will be defeated and Russia can start counter offensive against Ukraine without any reserves. There is a chance of Ukraine being forced to the table this year.

  9.  @Arniac1  Sure they would - they supplied a lot of weapons in wars that their puppets have lost - so did the Soviets. West did not supply many tanks - less than 100 were delivered which is next to nothing. Its a joke. Never underestimate your enemy - but also do not think NATO military planners are some Gods. Remember west lost with Soviet Union - Berlin was taken - and it had the best western commanders on earth. The war for Ukraine is lost. Even if by some miracle they manage to gain a lot of land - they still lost the war. Especially when everyone knows that this is their last hurrah.

  10. Well, once Ukraine offensive is over Russians can counter and force Ukraine to the table. The end of the war is what Kiev has the power to do. Or they can drag it on for years to come.

  11.  @tunacanoe2143  As the saying goes, if Russia stops, its the end of Russia. If Kiev stops the war is over. I agree Nazi need to be defeated. Kiev regime needs to fall. West is on the wrong side of history - as usual. Freedom always wins in the end, as people want to be free. West better remember that.
