  2. That is plainly idiotic. Do you think Russia / Soviets do not have weapons for millions of people? Really? WWII did not teach you anything at all, did it? They probably have more guns then both men and women from 18 to 65. Maybe 2x as much. Same with all other equipment.

  7.  @Kanoubi  Yes, of course. The reason they cannot is simply brutality of the country they are part of. In Canada such separation is actually enshrined in a law. Some provinces with separatist movement want to immediately join ... USA.

  10. Lugansk is easy - they control all but a part of a forest and one village. Donetsk is more interesting.

  13. Why not? They do not need to affect average Russian - but they will be able to use extra 100k troops legally. For all this calling of Putin a dictator he follows laws quite precisely. They can do limited mobilization, say 250k.

  14. I am sure that if they did any crimes and want to run away they can. Ordinary people do not - Ukraine said anyone whom had Russian passport - so almost all people other then children and elderly - will get 10 to 15 years. These pp are poor. They either fight or face gulag. What would you do?
