  1. Even if UA by some luck established a pocket there - a bridgehead - it would face enormous problems - such as problems with supply & problems with getting hammered by artillery. I mean how would UA supply troops there? Speed boats? Helicopters? And what would that light infantry do there - try to attack inland against prepared defenses? This has only political value.
