Not really - Elon does not own a company that makes a lot of chips.

@andrasbiro3007 Umm, Tesla so far never sold 2m cars in a single year. Toyota is largest car maker in the world, about 6x larger than Tesla. Tesla is not even in top 10 (2023). Heck, BYD (China) is bigger.

@andrasbiro3007 LOL, you do know we actually have this data ... you know... available to check, right? Tesla profit fell 18% y over y from 2022 to 2023. And is around 13B. Toyota's also fell, but not as much and is 61B. Last time I checked 13B is less than 61B :))) This is all strange since Toyota stock is much lower than Tesla indicating inflation of Tesla stock (all US stocks are heavily inflated). Gas car sales are not going down - BYD motors will take the lead from Tesla in numbers as they are able to make cheap electric vehicles - something Tesla simply cannot do. I expect Tesla to slowly loose market share in electrics and maybe one day it stock crashes.
