  1. If Russia wanted to not deliver gas to Germany they would have created more reversible problems then blowing a pipeline under the sea. Such act creates damage that is difficult to reverse even if one wants it. Much easier is say sabotage of pumping turbine etc. Also why would Russia take out pipeline NOT in operation??? NS 2 is dead - why damage that???
