  1. I have to point out that such move - money for US treasury is called nationalization which is basically what US - a supposedly capitalist nation have been fighting many wars against. This move questions sanity of investing in US as your capital can be nationalized at any moment. It would be wise to re-think US bound investments as these could be in danger of nationalization.
