I am sure in a month or so he will get his temporary freedom back. Putin keeps him on a short leash - if he were gone some other force would fill in the vacuum - better to have him clearly visible so no unknown force takes his place. Unknown == risky. This relationship ensures Navalny is quite safe in Russia.
