@tishwitch Well, I certainly do not mind more arms in Canada and my comment got far more likes then yours. There is nothing wrong with having more guns. They do not kill people - the users do. I live in a large city, in Canada, with some of the lowest crime rate in Canada as well as some of the highest gun ownership in Canada. We also have the richest (per income) neighborhoods in Canada. None of the richest pp in Canada live in "closed communities" - you can walk up to their front door and ring a bell. Its safe. Yet we all have lots and lots of guns. Meanwhile lots of other places in Canada, where they made lots of anti gun laws have huge problems with gun use. BUT almost none of these guns are former legal weapons. Thus limiting any legal gun ownership has zero effect on gun use. Maybe government and some misguided people will understand that one day.

Its not a big deal - almost all guns used in crime in Canada are not legal firearms or former legal firearms. Main source of former legal firearms is cops loosing their firearms.

 @zaiken639 Canada can use more cops to try to limit illegal guns coming over. But I doubt much $$$ is going to be spent on it.

As usual terrible job by RCMP. They did not know how to respond. Killing the gunman was lucky. There was no plan. Multiple pp should be fired. In fact, given total failures of RCMP as an organization over the years I support ending RCMP.

Its also officer's fault. They were poorly trained as shown by the firehouse fiasco. They failed to block the only road he could have driven out - totally failed to contain the suspect. And this is on very low level.

Are you kidding? If it was RCMP the guy would have killed all the kids in the whole state! I.e. they would have failed to contain the suspect. RCMP is like 1000x times worse then these Texas cops!
