Not really, Crimea is a fortress - not just the peninsula itself but the land bridge.

Yep, after failed UA offensive where he will point out they won some land back and lost 20 brigades worth of troops for it.

@cfosnock For Ukraine to win they would need a steady supply of tanks, IFV, artillery and manpower. In short win is not possible unless Russia lets them win - which seems not possible. As for Leopards Ukraine would need all of them over say next year to stay in the fight and be competitive. Even with ALL leopards they would loose eventually as there simply is not enough of them in the long term.

@SirChronoCfdgaM Nope. America.

@cfosnock Why would Ukraine fall quicker when they use Leopards? I do not think two battalions of these tanks will slow down or speed up UA defeat. Their number is too small to make a difference either way.

@cfosnock Yep, multiple brigades and only 15 tanks ;) 100s of vehicles destroyed - maybe close to a 1000. Maybe they had other tanks as well - like maybe T-64? Have you ever considered that? What about well over a 100 of Polish supplied T-72s that took part - forgot about these?

@cfosnock FYI NATO is supplying less and less. During 1st year of the war, its 600, 2nd year its maybe 300, 3rd year what - 150??? Supply of new artillery dropped to more or less none in 2nd year of the war. Problems with ammo are so huge any new artillery seems to be ancient stuff such as 105mm. Russia does not need total war - it is winning right now with limited war. It is firing 5-6x as many artillery shells & uses its air power 10x as much. There is no need to get more pp at them moment - but always can if needed. If they had more tanks than Russia (LOL) they would go on attack ;) There was a video of Russian T-55s being moved but no report of any T-55s being actually used by Russia in Ukraine. How is it that Ukraine will get Leopard 1 - and suddenly that is seen as "good" and "Ukraine not running out" but similar move from Russia is seen as act of desperation? Russia knew of both Finland and Sweden NATO pledge and simply ignored it. You do not see or hear much stir in Russia regarding this development. Both of these countries were western aligned and unofficially in NATO since 1992. Does not change much for Russia at all.

Yep, German tanks going to Moscow ... how did it work out last time ;)
2
Yep, it would be awesome to see them vs. T-90M. My money is on better trained crews in T-90M winning.

I love the idea UA successfully invading Crimea ;) What is next - Moscow? Why not - take out whole Russia ;) These documents are all fakes. There was not much anything "classified" about these documents. All things were from open sources - mostly western sources.

We may see Ukraine at negotiating table by then trying to sell "no NATO ever" for "some land back" idea as a win. Remember same guy said Crimea will be taken in 2022. Remember Ukraine was supposed to win the war by winter. Russia now is slowly grinding them down. And even if Ukraine, by some miracle stands, they can always mobilize more troops.

@gerritvalkering1068 Yes, there seem to be a lot of guys that say things will fall within days. On Friday say that Bakhmut will be all taken in two weeks. I have like 11 days. Lets see whatever I make it. Or will it actually be longer than that.
1
LOL, like when he said Ukraine will win before winter? ... winter 2022 / 2023?

Yeah, good comic relief for sure. People have short memories you know.

There is no path to Ukrainian victory unless such victory is heavily re-defined. Russia is clearly winning this war and is achieving its goals. Sending more weapons just prolongs the war and gives false hopes to Ukraine.
1
They cannot win this war. They can negotiate peace deal or loose big. No other option seems possible.
1
But there is no path to Ukraine winning it. It is now very obvious that Russia is clearly winning the war and Ukraine is loosing without any hope of turning the tide. Even if Ukraine goes on a big offensive and wins lots of land it will not change the fact they will loose the war. The longer the war lasts the weaker Ukraine is. Sending it more weapons only prolongs the war that is lost. Or just change what "win" means - now you can say Ukraine won ;)

How can Ukraine create and maintain a situation where Crimean land bridge is cut off? Feels impossible.

@ГеннадийШуплецов-р8п Ukrainian presidential adviser has a plan of ethnic cleansing. Essentially either deport or imprison or kill. Yep, on record.
