The boat has partially sailed. Russia does not care about any sanctions - even "severe ones" or "super sanctions" etc. They can completely 100% cut themselves off from the West, as much as Soviets did or more. Main failure is by Germany to not have pushed Ukraine, through sanctions, to force Minsk implementation. Now Minsk is dead. Most likely move by Russia will be to either keep current status or create East Ukraine.

Why Russians should move to Russia? Maybe Ukrainians should move to their supposed ancestral land and let countries their Ukraine is made up of take their land back? Ukraine was constructed of mostly stolen land by Soviets.

@willc1294 fins were already digested in WW2. No need to grab more. They are 100% safe. Baltics? Maybe, they could clean them up. Poland? Why, no Russians there and it was already robbed same as fins in WWII. Through stolen lands went to Ukraine.

@sammy4124 how can they target Putins money? Does he even have any? Stalin did not own much personal property. By western standards he was poor.

@pupsiuspupuliukas2394 Yes, he essentially owned whole country. If he wanted to fly a plane, he took one. If he wanted a ship, he took one. Besides, it was communism - allergic to large personal property.

@MacDaddy8200 And did Ukraine ever abide by Mińsk or planned to? No. Did EU ever push for implementation of Mińsk? No. So what was this Mińsk stuff really worth? Nothing.

@nesipnesipoglu8105 At least none related to NC on Turkey (maybe some individuals etc. nothing that can easily be dug out from google). NC cannot freely trade, but outside of that, nothing on Turkey.

@trishawilson1436 I suggest you look at OSCE report of whom is shelling whom. Its EU observers. They seem to report that Ukraine is shelling Donbass. Go take a look! They have report from today, with a map and concentration of shelling. Why would they have unbadged troops - there is no need - locals take care of stuff & now they will have support of regular Russian army.

Why would they - over 1 million brutally killed in WWII and now Ukraine made these murders their heroes! Polish minority lives in Donbass as they had to move out of supposedly "free" Ukraine.
