  3. This is how Vancouver works - people somehow get a loan last year for say 1.4m. This year they are selling for say 1.8m. After some fees and stuff say they clear 300k. All b/c someone gave them a loan and they just sit on it. In Canada there is no tax on primary residence so 300k income... tax free. Who wants to work? No work required - money comes out of thin air - but for how long?

  5. Go Chinese - tiny - tiny space on ground floor. Actual repair is 100km from the city. Shipping would be much cheaper then rent.

  6. Same with stock market going up or hosing in Canada went up 18% this year (!) and if you look at hot markets its more like 25%. Stock market is supposed to be delayed effect of 6m - its look at the future - but future does not look uber bright! So why everything is going up like crazy? Or maybe we look at it wrong way - maybe the money is going down like crazy?

  7. What apple does should be illegal - i.e. it should violate anti competition laws and monopoly laws. You are stifling any competition by forcing everyone to use your store. Imagine same thing existed on windows - you could only install software from Microsoft store (!) Anti monopoly guys would have a fit - it was deemed illegal to bundle IE with windows (!) in some jurisdictions - free software. Imagine MS store.

  10. Tesla is an IT company and acts like the one lead by Steve - Apple. Elon is trying hard to be a salesman of the same caliber as Steve - main difference Steve actually gave us what buzz stuff he was saying while Elon is always BS. As far as the LAW vs large corporation - do you have time & money to take them on? Hence forth I own zero Apple products and plan to never own a Tesla.
