  1. What apple does should be illegal - i.e. it should violate anti competition laws and monopoly laws. You are stifling any competition by forcing everyone to use your store. Imagine same thing existed on windows - you could only install software from Microsoft store (!) Anti monopoly guys would have a fit - it was deemed illegal to bundle IE with windows (!) in some jurisdictions - free software. Imagine MS store.
