  2.  @earlgrey2130  Yeah the 14k miles seem a bit extreme for few years. This would be over 7 miles per day over last 5 years. However, if he includes running (say trail) next to his home seems possible, through touch unlikely. But what if "last few years == 10 years"? That would be somewhat OK - it would be like 22 or so miles per week. So weekend trip every weekend would cover it - even no running needed. Also doing PCT twice over 10 years would lower the standard (not unheard of).
