  1. Putin so far has far better economic outlook than say UK - with economic growth predicted to be 4x bigger than UK (!) So I would not count on west "neutering" Russia anytime soon.

  6. Counter offensive started around 24h ago. Ukrainian units are attack all along the front line in Donbass. Zaporozia offensive to start soon. So far Ukrainians failed to break through Russian defenses but took from the Russians some advance positions. No news of losses - but I expect Ukrainian losses to be heavy.
