Essentially Russia and west had a deal but west did not implement much of the deal so after waiting for a while Russia pulled out. Also Ukraine grain did not go to Africa... So nothing in this deal has worked. Russia needs to be careful as even if UA grain did not go to Africa it went somewhere - maybe to pigs in Spain --- but it still was lowering prices. I would discount any Ukraine claims of hitting civilian ships - they have little means - mostly drones & they have to careful of which country flag they hit. Similar threat is a problem for Russia - they cannot really attack ships - they just trash the port instead.
