Well, in about a week or so we know what exactly will happen. But I predict all things point out to Russia declaring war on Ukraine after it annexes at least Donbass & thus allowing for full mobilization. We should see slow signs of Russia and allies going on the offensive in about a month later, with crushing Ukrainian defeats later on - maybe a huge spring offensive. Of course this will destroy Russian economy and set the country back a decade.

@colinhubble6667 Exactly - this is why UN was to be used by Ukraine refused. Part of Minsk. So Russia is liberating these people by force of arms.

@CptBEARDless Real outcome in Donbass would be that most people would vote to join Russia. Come on, even a blind man can see it. I admit that in Kherson and Zaporozia a lot of Ukrainians would need to leave to make it pro Russia - BUT a lot of them did leave & a lot of Russians from other areas came in. So pre war it would be against Russia by around 30 - 70. In Donbass I expected pre-war to be around 60-40 for. In Crimea I expected it in 2014 to be around 70-30 for. Essentially Donbass does not want to be in Ukraine. So why force it? Should we force Taiwan to belong to mainland?

@spingebill8551 Not really, they were doing roughly as well as EU or touch better. Without mobilization they had a chance as posting a growth. Now they are certain to end up similar to say Poland. And prolonged war with mobilization will certainly force negative growth. But I expect now the war to shorten again.
