There was no concept of Ukraine till about 1920s - certainly not 400 years ago. All princes in that area 400 years ago were either Poles or Rus. They signed all treaties as such and other legal documents. There was no "Russians" either as we know them today. In fact around 400 years ago, there were still a lot of people speaking proto Polish in areas around even Moscow. Rus is actually the invader from the north - that invaded lands of proto Polish tribes. This is why no difference between sub sections of conquered polish tribes - they were all Rus.

@AliShuktu Nazi is capital letter as that is what grammar tells you to do. All regiments I mentioned claim their Nazi allegiances - i.e. they say they are Nazi.

Remember these guys are traitors to Kiev regime but heroes to their own people. What the soldiers are doing is setting up stage for taking care of "traitors" and explaining it as non war crime. Get ready for civilians disappearing.

Russians are advancing in Donbass every day. They are taking more and more villages to they joy of the locals that see Russian army as liberators and greets them with flowers. About half of Russian army is Ukrainians fighting Kiev regime. As for Kharkiv, Russia is busy in Donbass - they probably will first take Zaporozia next.

@sergeyb8 1. Dude, its a regiment, one of many and total # of battalions such as Azov is claimed by Ukraine to be well over 20. 2. 100% of Azov is NAZI - same as German SS. Maybe 99%+ if that makes you feel better. So 99% of Azov which is between 2000 and 3000 people is around 2000 to 3000 people. 3. from above we see that Nazi units, multiple regiments, or if counting battalions only, make up easily more then 20k members right now, certainly more then 10,000 or 14,000 that could have been before the war. this is all depending on the size of the army and size of battalions. 4. Whole SS was seen as criminal organization as per Nuremberg trails. Thus yes, being a member of the SS meant that you are a criminal. This is not some dude with "Nazi / white supremacy beliefs" these are guys, like SS, with tanks, artillery and lots of infantry. I ask you also, what gives the right to Ukrainian people to deny freedom to others, to rape, to loot and kill them at will? Why they cannot accept the fact that a lot of people do not want to live in their Nazi paradise! What do you have against people's will, as per UN charter, to determine their future? Let them be free!

Yeah with Putin support close to 90% and support for war at around 70%. Also Ukrainians out number Russians more then 2:1 and are still not able to hold the fort. I see Russian morale >>> Ukrainian morale.

Well, Russia did have many generals on the front lines. So what? I doubt Putin would not go onto the front line, but I don't see comic there.

Fool, they are just setting the stage to start eliminating pp they do not like. They can always say they were "traitors" and pp like you will buy it. Remember this is a civil war, so very brutal. As to "maybe those people who are helping Putin should go live in his country" same can be said about these helping Zielinski - maybe they should go and live in their country.

@sergeyb8 Sure no problemo - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Battalion from which we get here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_volunteer_battalions As you can see there are dozens of Nazi battalions, some formed into regiments, and there are many regiments. The 10% figure is very conservative. This is Ukrainian info - I assume you trust Ukraine - when they say they are Nazi - I assume you trust they are not lying.

Well, in many areas they are occupied by Kiev regime troops. This is why they are liberating themselves from Kiev regime. Most of fighting in Donbass is Ukrainians on both sides, west supports Kiev regime, Russia supports Donbass. When Ukraine takes a Donbass village - most people are "traitors" b/c they do not believe in Kiev regime occupation. So they are setting stage for mass arrests and executions. And then you wonder why Donbass fights even harder!

@philliptemple4534 Separatists do not want to be a part of Ukraine. Their right to live where they choose has to be respected. Their right trumps right of Ukraine to stay as one country. We live in 21st century, people have right to choose where they live. If they feel so strongly about not being in Ukraine, they have the right. Plenty of countries, including Canada, have chosen to give separatists political path. If they win then they can separate. "Going from wanting independence to colluding with a hostile invador that is murdering your friends and neighbours will not be taken well." well, it was taken well in Kosovo. I do not remember anyone saying anything to help the Serbs, do I? US did exactly what Russia is doing right now.

@philliptemple4534 Sure, they can - Ukrainians can leave Donbass and live where they want. So you agree then, that since no country can accept that - Serbia should re-take Kosovo? Come on, you cannot have both. What about Taiwan - does or does not mainland have the right to take it! YES or NO. You cannot have both.

@philliptemple4534 Sure, some people prefer Russia so they are going to Russia - together with their homes and other property. So you are OK with Donbass being independent in the same way as Taiwan - ARE YOU? Well, are you? This was proposed by Russia as well during the war. Before the war Donbass was supposed to get only autonomy via Ukraine signed Minsk agreement - you know, the one Ukraine decided is not worth paper they signed it on.

Skip that step, just shoot. Then wave to US to take a photo and blame on Russians. Easy way to get rid of ethnic Russians. And you wonder why Russian troops are welcomed with flowers as liberators?

Well, they have been shelled by Ukraine for 8 years and they know that if they do not fight Ukrainians will end their lives. Its a civil war. Short solution would be to have referendums to give people what they want. All areas that want to join Russia should be allowed to join Russia. Its not Ukraine right to exist, its the right of the people in the east not to live under the boot of Kiev regime.

Ah, so now they start building up to the excuses to eliminate traitors. Same as one of the Nazi unit guys started to justify war crimes by saying, you know, sometimes you need revenge. Same here - they say "someone given us up" so when people start disappearing stupid Americans will think its justified. This is not the very first time this is repeating.
