  2.  @thundereagle4130  The other republics are like 80% Russians so they are about as ethnically pro Russian as Kosovo is Albanian. Over Crimea its 40-60 in favor of Ukraine, but the whole side of Dniper river and Odessa is exactly 50-50. If you did whole area as one and referendum I bet $100 they would vote to break away from Ukraine. So if you are pro "people have the right to choose their destiny" ...

  3. Yeah, that could be the plan to take Donbass by that date. They will but in more then 2 weeks, maybe as many as 4 weeks. Depends whatever Ukrainian troops surrender or fight to the last man.

  5. Well, so far operation is going slowly but according to plan. Just timelines seem off. I think Russians under estimated fortifications in Donbass. Like every house is a fortress and all basements are connected. They need to clear every house. Also weather is not great, rivers a flooding, Ukrainians blow up bridges etc. So going is slow.

  6. Relax, the Russians never taken that area :) I know. Propaganda fail. So they never pulled out and Ukraine never retaken it. Just little "twitter" war.

  7. What an UGLY PROPAGANDA. City of Makariv was NEVER taken by the Russians and held. In this entire war. This is again the case when Ukrainians invent offensive and retake a city they never lost. Russians briefly entered Makariv about 10 days ago and were pushed out. Their positions are few km outside of the city. They been there for at least a week.

  8.  @leoperidot482  Ukraine almost lost the war. Once Mariupol is taken and Izium is taken (huge battle - they don't say on CNN) then Ukraine is done for. I.e. they lost the war. Reason is Russians will then be encircling army of Donbass. Best troops of Ukraine will only fight a little bit without supplies. If these are gone... Ukraine is done.

  9. This is Konotop. They made a deal with Russians that the city is "free" and they will not interfere in Russian military if Russians leave them alone. Its been like this for a week.

  10. Umm, with about 1/5 of her territory taken and eastern army slowly crumbling I do not see any invasion of Russia coming anytime soon.

  11. Ukraine also taken out a bridge on said river behind city of Irpin, more or less abandoning the position. Russians digged in defensive positions and are holding Ukrainians while all action is in south - east.
