Nope. They lost more and more and more equipment in the exact same way.

Many died when running back to their starting positions under artillery fire. Also these whose vehicles were smashed by artillery did not do too well.

According to Russian video crew all burned to bits. Seen Russian drones drop thermal grenades through open hatches. Some others Russians did a video and pictures standing next to them!

Why? We do not see BMP - 1/2/3 doing much better or worse - lots and lots have been taken out by a mine. Heck wheeled BTR as well.

I would not say so - roughly the same. No difference. Either one would have a blown track and either would save the crew.

@bdinaz This highly depends on which BMP. The original was certainly not great. The BMP 1M is better. I assume BMP 2 is similar to 1M. Not sure about 3, but I would hope even better.

Russians spotted them over 5km from their forward positions. They immediately engaged. They had one mine clearing vehicle - at least. As they were in the open multiple things started to engage them. As forward elements were on fire the rest started to run. Some were taken out by mines, some by artillery some by missiles.

@spaceman9599 Well, we have video evidence of a lot of losses so its hard to ignore the fact that Russia does not own Bradly or 113 vehicles ;)
