  1. I do not think nickel was used only in sinks 😅 Nickel was all over the place including a lot of alloy steels. Car batteries are just one more extra that use this metal.

Nowhere in Taiwan you see it as "independent nation" - no one living in Taiwan and in any official capacity claims Taiwan is independent. There is no document claiming independence. So why pp in the west claim independence when pp living there do not? Its equivalent to someone in China claiming Texas is independent nation.

If Biden was not a total old man he would have easily gotten out of this explaining that US fully believes in one China policy, that Taiwan is part of one China and Pelosi did only a private visit to Taiwan and in no shape or form represents US government. But he is old man challenged by stairs.

  4. Taiwan is part of China. Taiwan was incorporated into China 100s of years ago. May want to learn some history. Going to part of one nation and supporting its secession is exactly the same thing west condemned Russia for - hypocritical.
